Optum gets Equity

WA-based public company Energy Equity Corporation Limited has recently signed a contract to outsource all IT requirements throughout Australia and Asia to local company Optum Group Pty Ltd.

Energy Equity has 24-hour-a-day requirements for down-loading geological and other data from various locations to operations in Australia and overseas.

The company traditionally managed most of its IT requirements in-house, but recently decided to focus more on its core energy business while enrolling the specialist skills of an external IT solution provider.
