De Luca replaces Sutton at Bankwest
Bankwest managing director Jon Sutton is returning to a senior executive role at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, with CBA executive general manager of retail and business banking Rob De Luca set to relocate to Perth and take the top job at Bankwest. Mr De Luca was previously executive general manager corporate financial services at CBA and before that, worked in New Zealand with the group’s subsidiary ASB as head of group investments. He will start as managing director-designate from February 6 and will take over as managing director in late March.
North West Shelf recruits Mumme
The North West Shelf Project participants have appointed Brian Mumme as president of their liquefied natural gas marketing agency, North West Shelf Australia LNG, from March. Mr Mumme was most recently general manager for grain handling group CBH. He has also held senior commercial and marketing positions with BP in Australia, England and the US. He replaces Phil Byrne, who ended his term at the end of November. BHP Billiton Petroleum, BP Developments Australia, Chevron Australia, Japan Australia LNG, Shell Development (Australia) and Woodside Energy are the six equal partners in the NWS LNG venture. The China National Offshore Oil Corporation is also part of the NWS project but does not have an interest in its infrastructure.
AnaeCo promotes Kedemos to board
Perth-based waste management technology company AnaeCo has elevated its chief executive, Patrick Kedemos, to its board in the position of managing director. Mr Kedemos joined AnaeCo as CEO in August last year after a stint as general manager of Air Liquide WA. AnaeCo’s WA-made DiCOM waste processing technology focuses on resource recovery and bio-conversion of organics from municipal solid waste.
