Gardner heads Magnus Perth office
Founder and managing director of Magnus Investor Relations and Corporate Communication, John Gardner, will move back to Perth from Sydney next week to head the firm’s newly-opened WA office. Mr Gardner has previously worked for Hill & Knowlton, Norfolk Group and Ogilvy in Sydney and London, and established Magnus in Sydney in 2009. He has provided strategic communication counsel on a range of corporate transactions over the years.
Wade replaces Mangione as GCS chair
Global Construction Services has appointed Mineral Resources managing director Peter Wade (pictured) as its non-executive chairman. Mr Wade has previously worked for the Transfield Group and prior to that, in the NSW public service. He has taken over the GCS chairmanship from Sam Mangione, who will continue as a non-executive director. Mr Mangione is the co-owner and managing director of Instant Waste Management, as well as managing director of New Energy Corporation.
