Moss to stand down from Tourism
Graham Moss who has been in the role of chief executive for the Tourism Council of WA for three years has tendered his resignation from the position and will stand down once a replacement CEO has been appointed. Mr Moss will finish his role with the council with the staging of the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
Goodman leaves Vmoto chair
Vmoto executive chairman Russell Goodman has stepped down from the role, bringing to four the number of major executive changes at the Scooter manufacturing company in the past two months. Mr Goodman has resumed a non-executive director’s role. Vmoto confirms that the company’s head office in Perth will be closed and relocated to Southport in south-east Queensland, allowing Alicia Atkinson who has been appointed as chief operating officer, to join the company. Perth-based director Trevor Beazley will move from his position as executive director into a non-executive role by the end of January. The company’s (then) managing director Patrick Davin (pictured) resigned in November 2010.
Ross chairman at Berkeley
James Ross has been appointed as chairman at Berkeley Resources follow ing the retirement of Robert Hawley, due to health reasons. Dr Ross has 45 years’ experience in exploration, development and mining and is a director of Kimberley Foundation Australia and a member of the Technology and Industry Advisory Council.
Richardson new Gindalbie CEO
Gindalbie Metals has appointed David Richardson as its new chief financial officer, effective from February this year. Mr Richardson is an experienced international finance professional and corporate executive who has held senior executive positions with international service group WorleyParsons.
