Voelte to retire from Woodside in 2011

Carbon advisory panel appointed
Don Voelte, along with 18 other people including Shell’s Ann Pickard, has been appointed to a new business roundtable that will provide advice to the federal government on the economic and business issues surrounding climate change.
Synergy boss to step down in April

Vorster to head Iron Ore Holdings
Pilbara iron ore developer Iron Ore Holdings has appointed Oakajee Port and Rail executive Alwyn Vorster as chief executive officer. He joins IOH from his current role as director business development of OPR, the company tasked to develop a new rail and port in the Mid-West of Western Australia.
Mactiernan elected to WA SEA board
Former state government minister Alannah Mactiernan has been elected to the board of the Western Australian Sustainable Energy Association, which decided at its annual general meeting to change its name to the Sustainable Energy Association of Australia. Managing director of SunPower Bob Blakiston was re-elected as chair of the association, which has 375 members.
