Olea’s Italian sale

OLEA Australis has announced the sale of about 168,000 litres of bulk extra virgin olive oil to buyers in Italy. The sale follows completion of harvesting and processing at the group’s Dandagaran plantation and successful marketing to the country from a recent visit by representatives from Olea. Cloverdale-based Olea has completed its 2005 harvest and processing, recovering 1,591 tonnes of olives from owned and operated olive groves, resulting in 265,000L of extra virgin olive oil, which is an increase of approximately 500 per cent on last year.
