Oklo granted exploration period extension in Mali

Perth-based uranium explorer Oklo Uranium Ltd has been granted an extension to its exploration licence in Mali until February 15, the company has announced.

Oklo Uranium Limited is pleased to advise that The Ministry of Mines, Energy & Water in the Republic of Mali has granted the company an extension of its current Autorisation d'Exploration held over its Kidal project area until 15
February 2008.

The Autorisation d'Exploration covers an area of some 19,000 kms2 and grants exclusive rights with respect to the exploration of uranium, base metals and gold.

UTS Geophysics is currently undertaking an airborne geophysical survey of the area and have completed approximately 30% of the program, with completion of the flying expected in late September 2007.

The company's senior management team are currently in Mali reviewing progress of the survey and will shortly proceed to Niger to continue with the assessment of the company's interests in that country.
