NorthWater moves ahead

A $1 million contract has been awarded to create 34 fully-serviced residential lots at Carnar-von’s NorthWater Estate.

Perth-based Malavoca has won the contract for the first stage of development of residential lots at the estate.

The contract is the latest component of the WA Government’s planned expenditure of $11 million on the Fascine Redevelop-ment Project.

Work will begin shortly on roads and services for the lots. The contract also includes planting of mature palm trees and waterfront landscaping.

Lands Minister Doug Shave said the sixteen week contract would ensure the lots were ready for sale in October.

“When finished, the Fascine Project will give Carnarvon’s main water frontage a new residential, tourism and recreation focus,” Mr Shave said.
