Nomad awarded $20m Robe River contract

Nomad Building Solutions Ltd has been awarded a $20 million contract to manufacture and install an additional 400 rooms and associated facilities at Robe River Mining Associates' Mesa A iron ore project in the Pilbara.

The contract is additional to the previously awarded contracts for the initial development stages of the Mesa Aproject, taking Nomad's contractual works to around $34 million.

The Henderson-based company, which designs, manufactures and installs permanent and transportable modular accommodation will commence the new contract in March 2008.

Upon completion, the total facility will accomodate a workforce of 760 people.
