FORMER Australian test cricketer John Inverarity has been appointed visiting professor at The University of Notre Dame.
Professor Inverarity has joined the university’s College of Education where he will lecture in the post-graduate program.
The former Hale School headmaster will combine his Notre Dame teaching appointment with his role as coaching director and England’s Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
Besides his test caps Professor Inverarity captained Western Australia and South Australia in a career spanning 23 seasons and held teaching positions at Applecross Senior High School, Guildford Grammar School, Scotch College, Adelaide’s Pembroke School.
He also taught in England at King’s College, Wimbledon and Tonbridge School.
