Murdoch University’s pro vice-chancellor, resource management and chief financial officer, Gaye McMath, has been elected WA president of CPA Australia.
Mrs McMath has held a range of senior financial, strategic planning and commercial management positions in the steel, minerals and treasury areas throughout a 23-year career with BHP.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne Business School. Furthermore, she is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and CPA Australia.
Mrs McMath is a director of the Silver Chain Nursing Association, Home Building Society, National Power Services WA and the WA Treasury Corporation.
