New target for remuneration

The salary package for Wesfarmers’ new managing director acknowledges the reality that many large companies pay big annual bonuses every year.

It should be noted that the other 90 per cent of workers of these companies do not receive anything near these obscene and extravagant base payments and bonuses. There needs to be a ceiling ratio of the upper end to lower end of the salary scale no more than 10:1
