THE South West Development Commission board has received four new representatives.
Harvey Shire Council president Peter Monagle and Nannup Shire Council president Barbara Dunnet have been appointed as local government representatives on the 10-member board.
Margaret River-based lawyer and strategic consultant Tanya Heaslip and Workers’ Employment adviser Nicholas Oaks of Bunbury were appointed as ministerial representatives.
They replace Ken Robinson, Michael Bennett, Fred Drake-Brockman and Margaret Lane who have all retired.
Mr Monagle is a business manager of Roelands and he has been appointed to the SWDC board for two years.
Ms Dunnet, a farmer from Nannup has been appointed for a three-year term as has Ms Heaslip.
Mr Oaks, who is also a Forest Products Commission commissioner and chairman of the WA Primary Industry Training Council, has been appointed for a two-year term.
