Neptune Marine wins $9m BHP contract

Neptune Marine will carry out the inspection and maintenance program at BHP Billiton Iron Ore's Finucane Island port facility in the Pilbara, in a contract valued at $9 million.

Work at the site is expected to being this month, and acting chief executive said the contract recognized the company's unique skill set.

"Collectively, the contract requires a program of non destructive testing, maintenance and the ability to carry out these tasks over open water," Mr King said.
