More than art

MORE than 200 artists will exhibit in one of Perth’s largest contemporary art fairs – Art03 –to be held at the Fremantle Passenger Terminal May 16-18.

Not limited to paintings, Art03 will present a range of visual art including sculptures and tapestry.

Spearheaded by The Association of WA Art Galleries, the biennial event seeks to attract artists, students, art buyers and collectors as well as those who want to know more about art.

Treasurer of WA Art Galleries Norah Ohrt said the event would let consultants showcase the artists they represented.

Art03 director Paola Anselmi said the event’s opportunity for networking was its major drawcard.

Tickets cost: $8 for adults and $5 for concession.
