The mix 94.5 audience was down 2.9 per cent overall, with 17.8 per cent of total audience share in the period from March 25 to April 28 and May 6 to June 9.
In second place was ABC720 with 12.1 per cent, up 1.9 per cent, followed by Nova 93.7 and Southern Cross's 96FM, which tied for third place with 11.6 per cent of the total audience.
In the crucial 18-24 demographic 96FM suffered a significant 6.5 per cent audience share fall, bringing their total share of the demographic to 14.1 per cent. Nova's stake in the audience share rose 4.3 per cent to 30.3 per cent, while Austereo's 92.9 rose 2.1 per cent, bringing it to second place in the demographic with 20.1 per cent of listeners.
Nova also won the 25-39 demographic with 21.8 per cent of the vote, up 3.5 per cent, followed by 96FM, up 2 per cent to 20.6 per cent.
Listeners aged 10-17 surged back to 92.9, the station dominating the demographic with 42.3 per cent of listeners, up 4.8 per cent. Nova lost 3.3 per cent of listeners to come in second at 20.3 per cent, and a 5.2 per cent fall in listeners kept mix 94.5 in third place with 13.6 per cent of listeners.
Mix still won the influential grocery buyer demographic, with 19.3 per cent of the listeners, followed by ABC720 on 14.2 per cent, and Southern Cross's 6PR on 10.9 per cent.
Mix also won the 40-54 demographic with 28.3 per cent of listeners, down 3.2 per cent. 96FM came in second with 13 per cent of listeners, followed by ABC720 with 10.6 per cent.
People over 55 still preferred the ABC, with 720's audience share rising 5.5 per cent to be 27.2 of all listeners in that demographic, followed by 6PR with 17.6 per cent of listeners, and Mix with 12.6 per cent. 6IX was in fourth place with 10.7 per cent, up 3.1 per cent.
