Micromine looks to grow in China

PERTH mining software firm Micromine Pty Ltd is working to increase its growing Chinese customer base by working with Austrade and the Chinese Government to expand into new provinces. Incorporated in 1986, Micromine develops computer software and provides consulting services to the resource industry. It markets its products worldwide and has branch offices and agencies at a number of overseas locations. The company already has a user base of more than 50 companies around China, which it has developed over the past five years. Micromine’s China manager, Dean O’Keefe, said most of the company’s business came from China and other international destinations, including Indonesia and Russia.
