Malaysian firm wins $178m Gorgon deal

Malaysian company Wah Seong Corporation Berhad has been awarded a $US163 million ($A178 million) contract to provide pipeline coatings for the massive Gorgon project.

The contract involves coating about 850km of pipes, the company said in a statement.

Work is expected to start in the second quarter of 2010 and be completed in 2012.
