ANDREW Frazer is taking up space at Hartley Poynton’s seventh floor ahead of his shift out of mainstream stockbroking into more of a funds management role.
One of HP-JDV’s biggest shareholders, Mr Frazer described his broking days as “almost over” and said he was planning to set up his fund using money he already manages for existing clients.
Chairman Jock Clough will take some of Mr Frazer’s office space to use for his private work outside of his executive role with listed engineer Clough Limited.
Mr Frazer said he remained committed to HP-JDV, particularly the JDV technology division, which has recently started to turn a profit.
Also keeping some commitment to Hartley Poynton is analyst David Franklyn, who will be doing some consulting to JDV despite having quit the group a few weeks ago.
Mr Franklyn told Business News his main workload would come through a role with Adelaide-based MMC Asset Management.
