Mortgage broking businesses LJ Hooker Financial Services and Southern Cross Broker Network have teamed up to maximise the potential of their broking capacities through WA and Victoria.

TWO of Australia's leading mortgage broking businesses today announced a commercial business partnership that will maximize the potential growth of their mortgage broking services.
The LJ Hooker Financial Services (LJHFS) and Southern Cross Broker Network (SCBN) partnership will provide, manage and expand mortgage broking franchising services through Western Australian and Victorian LJ Hooker real estate offices.
Peter Bromley, General Manager of LJHFS, says the synergy within the partnership would be paramount to its success.
"We are both established businesses using the same systems and the same platform. Southern Cross's established management, recruitment, training and support systems fit hand in glove with LJ Hooker's financial services division.
"The partnership will mean increased support for our existing teams and for new brokers joining us. LJHFS and SCBN will be working together to find improved processes, ensuring that best practice ultimately benefits our clients.
In Western Australia and Victoria, SCBN brokers will adopt the LJ Hooker Financial Services brand to service the network's real estate offices and their customers.
Mr Bromley said the aim was to have a broker, or team of brokers, in every real estate office.
"This announcement is part of a roll out of initiatives under the company's new ownership. It is a bold step in the market that will reap rewards for LJ Hooker, the Southern Cross Broker Network and the mortgage industry at large,"
