Jones appointed to Mount Gibson board

Mount Gibson Iron Limited today announced the appointment of Alan Jones as a non executive director of the Company.

Mr Jones is a chartered accountant currently serving as managing director and executive deputy chairman of Mulpha Australia Limited. He has extensive senior management and board experience in listed and unlisted Australian public companies, particularly in the construction and engineering industries. Mr Jones appointment increases the Board of Directors of Mount Gibson Iron to seven members and takes effect immediately.

Chairman of Mount Gibson Iron Bill Willis welcomed Mr Jones to the board, saying his appointment brought to the company a range of commercial skills and corporate experience.
