Johnson to Asthma Foundation

The Asthma Foundation of WA has appointed David Johnson (left) as its new chief executive officer. Mr Johnson has experience in both the not-for-profit and commercial sectors. He has worked for national insurance giant IAG and most recently with ASB Marketing as general manager. Mr Johnson has experience as a high-profile administrator serving as director of umpiring for the Western Australian Football Commission for 10 years. He had a distinguished 15-year career as an AFL and WAFL umpire and was awarded an Australian Sports Medal for his service to sport. The appointment comes after the resignation of John Gummer.
