Mines and Petroleum Minister Norman Moore has officially opened Integra Mining's new Randalls project east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, saying it highlighted the potential for further gold discoveries in the region.
Mr Moore said the achievement was partially based on a greenfields discovery.
"Integra Mining is an aggressive Australian gold explorer with a proven discovery track record," Mr Moore said.
"It has a substantial gold resource base and a strong platform for building into a significant new mid-tier Australian gold mining company.
"The company developed the Randalls project in a relatively short time-frame following the discovery of the Salt Creek deposit in 2007."
The project has an estimated resource of 1.13 million ounces of contained gold.
It comprises the Salt Creek, Maxwells and Cock-eyed Bob deposits.
Integra has further exploration prospects at Lucky Bay, Mohegan, Lady Eileen and Red Dale.

Today's official opening of Integra Mining's new Randalls project, 50km east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder has highlighted the huge potential for further gold discoveries in the region.
Mines and Petroleum Minister Norman Moore congratulated the company on its latest development and said the achievement was partially based on a greenfields discovery.
The project has an estimated resource of 1.13million ounces of contained gold. It comprises the Salt Creek, Maxwells and Cock-eyed Bob deposits.
Integra has further exploration prospects at Lucky Bay, Mohegan, Lady Eileen and Red Dale.
"The initial production rate is planned for 90,000 ounces per annum of contained gold, with a target of 100,000-140,000 ounces per annum by mid-2012," Mr Moore said, adding that record prices in the past months had contributed to an increase in Western Australian gold exploration.
"Figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics reveal exploration expenditure for gold has increased 30 per cent to $349million in 2009-10, compared with the previous year.
"Integra's success provides encouragement to other explorers in the region and I hope to see more discoveries in WA in the coming years.
"The State Government's commitment to increasing exploration in greenfields and remote regions is evident in its $80million Exploration Incentive Scheme."
