About time. However there are two sides to every story and some franchisees need protection from themselves. Make it mandatory that every franchiose agreement has in bold print on the first page..... Please note this franchise is for a predetermined period. There is no right at the end of that period to expect an automatic renewal of this franchise contract. As well there is no right of renewal on your lease to expect a right of continuation. So factor in the establishment costs, franchise fees, and any other expenses and amortise that over the period of these two contracts. Then work out if you are going to make wages or a profit. Phone me and I'll direct you to the nearest Centre Link office so you can get your dole application in early. Whatever the agreement... if you cannot take blackmail out of the equation... don't sign anything.
