ICT Symposium – Strategic Direction for Government in WA

The Australian Information Industry Association is presenting a unique forum on the WA Government’s ICT strategic initiatives and procurement plans, June 21 at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre. Deputy Premier and Treasurer, Eric Ripper, will open the forum, where keynote addresses will be delivered by Jo Bryson, executive director, Office of e-Government, and John Crowe, director ICT sourcing, Department of Treasury and Finance. Other speakers include: • Bevan Doyle – chief information officer, Department of Education and Training; • Michael Moodie – executive director of technology, Department of Health; • Gee Lightfoot – general manager information services, Department of Industry and Resources; • Bob Berg – director information services for the Department of the Attorney General and the Department of Corrective Services; • Paul Wilkins – chief information officer for the Department for Planning & Infrastructure; and • Geoff White – chief information officer, Synergy.
