Over August 16-20 the Australian Human Resources Institute will hold their WA State Conference, which is broken into a series of two seminar sessions in Bunbury and Perth.
The Regional Conference – HR Now and in the Future – the South West Perspective will be held at the Lord Forrest Hotel in Bunbury on August 16.
Keynote speakers will be James Plamondon formerly of Microsoft Corporation Silicon Valley and Redmond, Fremantle Ports manager HR Tom Arnautovic OAM, Department of the Premier and Cabinet workforce development - principal policy officer Mike Fazey, Bunbury Port Authority harbour master Helen Cole, Work At It Pty Ltd product development director Anthony Aris and RSM Bird Cameron manager national technical training Geoff Peate.
The WA State Conference will be held at the Parmelia Hilton in Perth over August 18-20 and will be opened by Governor of Western Australia His Excellency Lieutenant General John Sanderson AC.
Keynote speakers over day one of this event include Minister for Consumer and Employment Protection the Hon John Kobelke MLA, Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA director for OHS and workers compensation Anne Bellamy, Lotterywest CEO Jan Stewart, Disability and Services Commission director general Ruth Shean, Work At It Pty Ltd product development director Anthony Aris, former advisor to Prime Minister John Howard journalist Anthony Rutherford, Henderson Power and Associates director Mary Power and Blake Dawson Waldron senior associate Craig Taylor.
The second day of the conference includes keynote speakers Curtin University of Technology executive dean business professor Michael Wood, Clough Ltd non-executive chairman Jock Clough, Positive Ageing Foundation chief executive the Hon Rhonda Parker and Real Justice Australian director Terry O’Connell.
