HarvestRoad losses blow-out

SOFTWARE development company HarvestRoad has announced its 2004-05 net loss is expected to be $2.2 million, compared with its previous estimate of a $1.0 million loss. It said the increased loss was principally a result of the deferral of major international defence and education industry tenders that had been expected by the end of June 2005. The client for one contract, valued at $2 million, has advised that the tender is expected to be awarded to HarvestRoad in October.
