Golden West appoint infrastructure adviser

Golden West Resources have announced the appointment of an infrastructure expert to advise the company on the development of its Wiluna Iron project in the state's north-eastern goldfields.

George Bray will join the company and be responsible for facilitating the infrastructure planning and approvals process associated with the project, and his extensive experience in planning and infrastructure provisions will be of significant benefit to Golden West.

Golden West are currently assessing transport and infrastructure options for moving its high grade direct shipping ore to market.

Mr Bray has recently completed the coordination of statutory approvals for a wood-chip storage facility at Albany, and was also involved in a review of the Liquor Licensing Act in WA.

Golden West plan to develop the Wiluna project in two stages, the first being the commencement of production of high grade direct shipping ore, followed by evaluating the size of resources required to justify further infrastructure.
