While these companies DID "increase PROJECTED cash flow," so could ANY COMMERCE STUDENT who knows how to juggle EXCEL SPREADSHEETS!! Has anything REAL or SIGNIFICANT happened here? Only the FUTURE REALITY that eventuates makes a REAL difference to the Payback of these companies and their shareholders. That said, however, the CHANGE OF ASSUMPTIONS DOES make a REAL difference to outcomes IF AND ONLY IF it changes the decisions of Financiers from NO-GO to GO! And that has... > LITTLE to do with what Gold/Oil Price Assumption that Red Mountain chooses to plug into its Project Model, but... > LOTS to do with what the "Consensus Forecasts" are for the Project-Make-or-Break assumptions regarding [A] Commodity Prices, and [B] A$/US$ Exchange Rates, "ConsFCs" being those predicted (on average) by leading Investment Banks like Goldman Sachs, UBS, Morgan Stanley, Macquarie,... So, enjoy your FUN WITH NUMBERS, Mineral Juniors, but "Wishin' and Hopin' " [as Dionne Warwick sang it] will only take you SO FAR...
