WESTERN Australia’s largest locally based superannuation provider GESB has signed a one-year sponsorship deal with the Buzz Dance Theatre to support its workshop series in regional WA.
General manager of wealth management at GESB, Fabian Ross, said the organisation would team up with Buzz to continue expanding its services to regional WA at the same time.
“Taking financial education and advice services to the regions, where one in three of our members lives, will support them to plan, build and save effectively for later life,” he said.
Buzz Dance Theatre artistic director Cadi McCarthy said the sponsorship allowed Buzz to visit schools that generally missed out on this sort of activity.
“The week-long residences mean we can maximise the effects of our workshops,” Ms McCarthy said.
The sponsorship will support Buzz’s delivery of four workshops over 12 months, with the first workshop in Mount Magnet this month.
Workshops will focus on team building, the development of collaborative skills and peer support techniques.
GESB is the super provider for current and former public sector employees in WA and has over 313,000 members and manages a global portfolio of over $10 billion.
