Company director, Laurence Freedman, has been appointed chair of two Western Australian resource juniors, Carrick Gold and Condor Nickel.
He joined these boards in August.
Condor has recently been undergoing substantial transformation following the unexpected death of its founder and Chairman, Frank Carr, in June this year.
Mr Carr's death left a substantial gap in the corporate structure which the Company believes will be well-filled by Mr Freedman.
Mr Freedman, who has was instrumental in such transactions as the re-listing of Channel 10 via backing it into Telecasters North Queensland in 1992.
He was founding director of Equitilink and oversaw funds under management and advise grow to over $7 billion prior to its sale to Aberdeen Asset Management in 2000.
He begun his career with the Gold Fields Group, rising to director of the group of companies, including Commonwealth Mining Investments.
Mr Freedman now manages his private investment portfolio, mentors a number of resource, biotech and technology companies and is chairman of the philanthropic foundation, the Freedman Foundation.
