Mr Fini joined a long list of winners announced at the 2023 WA Property Awards on Saturday.
The Property Council of Australia said the award recognised Mr Fini’s passion for delivering visionary projects including the State Buildings in the CBD, Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle, Coogee Common and the Bunker Bay Resort.
Peet’s Brabham Estate in the City of Joondalup bagged two awards in the Best Property Sales Marketing Campaign and Best Innovation categories.
The GPT Group won awards for Best Retail Operation over the $800 million redeveloped Karrinyup Shopping Centre and Best Retail marketing campaign for the Christmas Tree Lighting Festival.
Architecture firm Rothelowman’s work on The Claremont Hotel revamp was recognised through the Leisure and Tourism Development award.
Park Terraces in Shenton Park by Celsius Developments won the Residential Development award for projects of three storeys or less.
Parcel Property won the Residential Development, for four storeys or more, award for its NOMA Residence in Mosman Park.
Exchange at Curtin University was named Best Mixed-Use Development, while the Peet and DevelopmentWA collaboration Golden Bay Estate won the Best Community Infrastructure award.
The Retail Development award went to Centuria Capital Group’s WA Brooklane in Ellenbrook and Realside Ovest won in the industrial development category for 2 Venture Place in East Rockingham.
Property Council WA executive director Sandra Brewer said the awards recognised the leading projects and individuals building the spaces that enrich WA.
“Each of the winners have made impressive contributions to the property sector and our state,” she said.
“Many of the projects recognised in this year's award program were delivered despite well reported market challenges.
“The perseverance and commitment of the property industry to continue to deliver for a growing WA should not be understated.
“The depth, skill, passion and expertise displayed in this year’s WA Property Awards demonstrates the sector is ready to play a leading role in tackling the two biggest issues West Australians currently face – the cost-of-living crisis and a housing shortage.”
