Western Australian winemaker Evans & Tate Ltd said it is seeking expressions of interest in its Oakridge Winery in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. The Perth-based company said the it was looking to sell the operations as a going concern or the leasehold assets. "Evans & Tate's roots and competitive strengths are in the premium wine sector," chairman John Hopkins said. "While Oakridge wines are of exceptional quality, its limited capacity does not fit the company's strategy of competing in the domestic and international markets."
