Energy Investments in JV with CSM Energy

West Perth-based energy exploration company Energy Investments Ltd has announced plans to develop a pilot program for one of its Coal Bed Methane tenements in a joint venture with Sydney-based CSM Energy Ltd.

The farmout marks the first move by EIV to develop its Queensland coal bed methane acreage.

Under the agreement CSM will earn a 50 per cent interest in the Eastern Block of ATP 814P by funding 100 per cent of four pilot project wells, completing gas flow testing and independent certification.

EIV and CSM will form a joint venture to develop the tenements, in which CSM will sserve as operator and JV manager.

The development is scheduled to commence in February 2007.
