EY beefs up on tax

ERNST & Young has appointed Martin Webster as a new tax partner.

The firm has also added Celia Searle as a tax director.

Mr Webster was previously at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and has experience in international tax and transfer pricing areas, particularly in oil and gas.

Ms Searle is joining the firm’s stamp duty team and has more than 15 years experience as a legal practitioner at the bar and in WA commercial law firms advising on revenue and commercial issues.

She has worked as a barrister at Wickham Chambers since 1999 advising on stamp duty, income tax, corporate, commercial and superannuation issues.
