Downer EDI has announced three contract wins in WA and Queensland, including a $40 million contract to design and construct an upgrade of the Dampier Highway.
Downer said it has secured new contracts worth $275 million, with it's share of the revenue about $140 million.
Downer and joint venture partner Mouchel were awarded a second integrated service agreement with Main Roads Western Australia, to manage more than 3,800 kilometres of road in the north west of the state.
This was announced earlier this month by transprt minister Troy Buswell.
Downer said the contract cost was not fixed but was likely to be about $35 million per year for an initial five-year period, with an opportunity to extend.
Main Roads WA also awarded Downer, through a joint venture, a $40 million contract to design and construct the duplication of the Dampier Highway.
Downer, through its Synergy joint venture with Civil Mining and Construction and Probuild Civil, was awarded a contract valued at more than $60 million by Queensland Transport and Main Roads for works on an 8.7 kilometre section of the Bruce Highway.
