Cedar Woods Properties directors, including chairman William Hames, have acquired more shares under a combination of the company’s dividend reinvestment plan and bonus share plan. Mr Hames has picked up 263,411 shares at $3.88 each, bringing his stake in the land and property developer to more than 9.5 million shares. With Cedar Woods shares currently trading at $4.28 each, his stake is worth $40.9 million. Cedar Woods deputy chairman Robert Brown acquired just 18,196 shares through the dividend reinvestment plan, indicating he elected to take most of his dividend payout in cash. His stake of 8.8 million shares in Cedar Woods is currently worth $37.8 million. Both Mr Hames and Mr Brown are among the top 50 directors in the WA Business News wealth creators list this year.
