Woodside Petroleum chief executive officer Don Voelte has sold 40,000 shares, about 10 per cent of his personal stake in the oil and gas producer. Mr Voelte sold the shares at $42.62 a share in an on-market trade, netting $1.7 million The company said the funds raised from the sale will be used to manage tax liabilities arising from the vesting of Woodside shares.
