East Energy Resources managing director Mark Brusa has spent more than $3.1 million buying shares in the company as part of a rights issue. At the end of the purchase, Mr Brusa held 63.4 million shares in the company, valued at $6.34 million. Fellow director Ranko Matic also participated in the rights issue, spending $3,000 buying shares. Peak Resources director Alastair Hunter has paid a slight premium in buying 190,000 company shares on the market. Mr Hunter paid about 2.6 cents for each share, an 8 per cent premium to the Peak’s closing price on May 6.
