Deloitte poaches PKF audit team

Accounting firm Deloitte announced today that three former PKF audit partners Neil Smith, Conley Manifis and Chris Nicoloff have joined itse audit practice in Perth.

Commenting on the new appointments, Deloitte Managing Partner in Perth, Keith Jones said, "This is a significant step for our business and will take the Deloitte WA office to 420 people including 34 partners.

"The three new partners will also be joined by up to 30 new audit team members.

"They will add critical partner mass to our WA audit practice, which will now number 105 staff and 10 partners.

"It will also allow us to better support the growth engine of the WA economy, the fast growing private and listed companies in the E&R sector.

The new partners will add considerable experience to our A&A practice, and will add to the Deloitte presence in the public and private audit market in Western Australia," he said.

'The three new partners have joined the Perth office from the start of the 2010/11 financial year."
