Perth-based small goods manufacturer D'Orsogna Ltd has come off a weaker last year to post a $1.1 million profit, but is still down on its 2003 earnings result of $2 million, after sustaining proportionally higher cost of sales.
Perth-based small goods manufacturer D'Orsogna Ltd has come off a weaker last year to post a $1.1 million profit, but is still down on its 2003 earnings result of $2 million, after sustaining proportionally higher cost of sales.
The unlisted public company reported revenue of $85.8 million for the year ending June 2005, up over $10 million on last year. In 2002-03, revenue was $73 million.
Net profit was up from $218,233 in the previous corresponding period.
Sales costs were over $7 million higher, however, at $63.7 million.
In January this year, University of Western Australia Business School dean Tracey Horton was appointed as chair of D'Orsogna, taking over from Western Power chairman Neil Hamilton.
