The DRW4624 DVD/CD-R/RW drive offers unprecedented performance to handle today’s demands by reading CD’s at up to 24X speed, DVD-ROM up to 4X and writing CD-R discs at a super 6X and CD-RW at 4X speed. In fact, the DRW4624 writes a 650MB disc in about 12 minutes.

It’s got high versatility!

The DRW4624 is an ideal all-in-one solution for reading CDs and DVDs, copying audio/software CDs, creating photo/audio/ video CDs, or acting as a storage drive for archiving or backup. The drive comes complete with everything you need to make CD’s right away, including bundled software and blank CDs. You can write and read large data files as easily as you would from floppies.

It’s got high reliability!

The DRW4624 features an improved anti-heat design and the OPC design boosts recording reliability. Optimum Power Control continually monitors signal levels during recording and adjusts laser power to compensate for a dirty disc. This feature ensures a flat signal, significantly enhancing reliability.

It’s got high compatibility!

The DRW4624 supports all major CD and DVD formats, offering the user full backward-compatibility through the huge installed base of CD/DVD-ROM drives and media. It’s firmware is upgradable.

It uses the industry standard E-IDE (ATAPI) interface and mounts both vertically and horizontally.

The OPC technology boosts recording reliability and features a 2MB data buffer memory.
