Condor Nickel makes modest debut

Perth-based exploration company Condor Nickel has made a premium debut on the stock market, with its shares opening at 5 per cent above its 20 cent issue price.

Shares in the company, a spin-off from Carrick Gold Ltd, reached an intraday high of 22.5c before closing at that price, giving the company a market capitalisation of $10 million.

The company raised $6.2 million in its initial public offer and Frank Carr heads up as executive chairman, while Brian Martin and Bevan Jaggard will hold directorships
