It is proposed the markets, to be managed by the Aboriginal International Friendship Foundation, be a family-oriented, alcohol-free open air markets geared toward the promotion of indigenous and non-indigenous cultures.
Up to fifty lightweight demountable stalls are proposed to be located along the existing pathways within the square, selling cultural arts and crafts products.
Small-scale cultural events such as dance and theatre will be held within the central bandstand during market times. Music will be non-amplified.
Questionnaires must be returned by 9 September.
