Combined Associations Annual Lunch

On Friday April 1 the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, Master Builders Association, Association of Consulting Engineers (WA) and the Property Council of Australia will hold their combined annual lunch at the Hyatt Regency. The event will host three of the state’s top achievers discussing how they got to be leaders in their respective fields and how they view the future of Western Australia. Chaired by WA Business News editor Mark Pownall, the lunch will feature the following panelists: - Azure Capital co-founder and managing director Mark Barnaba. Mr Barnaba was also co-founder and managing director of Poynton and Partners and is currently chairman of The UWA Business School, deputy chairman of the West Coast Eagles Football Club, and a director of Clinical Cell Culture; - Dale Alcock Homes managing director Dale Alcock. Mr Alcock is a third generation home builder and founded his company in 1987 at the age of 26. He is past president of the HIA WA/Asia Division; and - Laurie Hegvold. Mr Hegvold has held a number of positions at Curtin University including Head of Architecture, Planning and Construction, Dean of Humanities International, and Emeritus Professor.
