Clough, Kinhill in $120m deal

THE design and upgrading of the Woodman Point wastewater plant will be undertaken by an alliance of Clough Engineering, the Kinhill Group and the Water Corporation.

Construction on the $120 million project is scheduled to start soon and be completed by April 2002.

Clough has already completed a number of projects for the Water Corporation including the ground water treatment plant at Neerabup, the Mirrabooka water treatment plant and the Bunbury wastewater treatment plant. It has also undertaken water treatment plants for Alcoa’s Wagerup alumina refinery and the Swan Brewery.

The Woodman Point project includes modifying the existing primary treatment process and the design and construction of a 160 megalitres per day advanced secondary treatment facility.
