CHROME Global has signed a $2.1 million deal with NSW medical group Pacific Medical Imaging.
Chrome will implement a patient scheduling and result reporting system in twenty-five of PMI’s radiology practices.
The implementation will cover the provision of all software, hardware, maintenance, training and technical support.
It is the first major project for the Chrome eHealth business unit following its establishment in early March.
Chrome Global managing director Kevin Baum said Chrome eHealth currently had about $51 million worth of potential work on the cards.
“Projects in the pipeline are located in Queensland, WA, NSW, Victoria and New Zealand,” Mr Baum said.
“Chrome has also received strong demand for its eHealth solutions from South East Asia and India.”
PMI CEO Peter Schultz said the deal would allow PMI to utilise the converging technology that will enable radiology to move into the multimedia and eHealth space.
