Childcare fees rise

FEES for council’s Citiplace Child Care Centre have risen. The full weekly fee is now $178, up from $168, the daily fee has risen to $37 from $35 and the sessional fee has gone up to $24 from $22.

A staff note to council said despite the fee increase, the fees for the Citiplace Child Care centres continued to be competitive in the industry.

The Marjorie Mann Child Care Centre in Mt Lawley has a weekly fee of $175 and a daily fee of $37 and Juniors in East Perth has a weekly fee of $175 and a daily fee of $32.
