Carnegie JV in Kalbarri microgrid win

A joint venture between a subsidiary of Carnegie Clean Energy and contractor Lendlease has won $6.8 million of work to install and operate a renewable powered microgrid in the Mid West town of Kalbarri.

Microgrids that can form part of a medium-voltage distribution system are developments that the National Electricity Market should be looking at. I am particularly interested in the grid-forming features if the Kalbarri project when disconnected from the 33kV feeder.
