Buka Gold's board ousted by Tony Sage

Resources promoter Tony Sage has managed to oust the board of Buka Gold and will assume the role of non-executive chairman with David Hillier the only member of the board to retain his position as non-executive director.

Mr Sage will be joined by one-time Jackson Minerals director Mark Gwynne as executive director and Simon McDonald as a non-executive director.

And John Richards, Paul Dowd and Robert Gunthorpe will be removed from the board.

More than 37 million votes were cast in favour of the new appointments and 22 million against.
